1. Tea Tree Oil--This is a very versatile oil from Australia. It is a known antiseptic, far more potent than carbolic acid, with fewer side effects. Tea Tree oil can be used undiluted on most people. Do note that there are some people that are sensitive to it so test on a small area before pouring it onto the sore. If you cut yourself, have pimples or boils, cleanse the area with soap and water then pour the tea tree oil on it. It will kill the germs and aid in healing. Tea Tree Oil is also a fungicide, if you have athletes foot, pour it on the affected area.
2. Lavendar Essential Oil-- This precious oil is an aromatherapist's first aid kit in a bottle. It stops pain and kills bacteria when poured directly on the wound. It can be used to treat burns. Just pour it on the burn to stop the burning and heal the skin. Call the doctor if it is bad!!! A few drops in your bath water helps for relaxing at bedtime. Dilute 3 drops into 1 Tablespoon Sweet Almond Oil for a relaxing massage oil. It will also ease eczema if you use it undiluted on your skin. But that is quite an expensive eczema remedy. :)
3, Eucalyptus Oil-- When it comes to coughs and colds, a steamy facial of eucalyptus oil will clear out your sinuses and airways. Fill a bowl, sink, anything large that you have with steaming water, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil and breath. It will work better if you can make a tent with a towel over your head when you are breathing in the vapors. Just put the towel over your head and let it drape down around the container of steamy water and eucalyptus oil while you are breathing the vapors in. Dilute one drop of *pure eucalyptus oil* in 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil or grape seed oil and massage on chest and throat.* CAUTION: DO NOT USE FOR MORE THAN FIVE(5) DAYS IN A ROW AS THIS COULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR SKIN!
4. Calendula Gel: Wonderful for cuts and wounds, helps skin heal quickly.
5. Chamomile Tea: A relaxing and soothing tea that may help you sleep at night. It is also good for menstrual cramps.
